About Nick

When Nick Metcalf says he feels his clients’ pain, he really means it. Many years ago, he injured his back on a remodeling job while working as an independent contractor. Medical bills quickly piled up and his insurance provider denied the $22,000 claim. With a wife, two children and several foster children to care for, Nick needed to find a solution -- and fast.

With limited mobility and endless determination, he researched the rules and regulations of the healthcare insurance industry and successfully challenged his claim. Knowing others would benefit from his knowledge, he earned his broker license in 2003 and joined the industry he had once fought so valiantly against.

During his construction career, Nick faced the same daunting healthcare choices his clients face today: too many carriers, too many plans and too much fine print. He created his first insurance firm, Health Solutions 4 U, to offer open and honest communication that would help individuals and families, entrepreneurs and business owners make educated healthcare decisions.

From the earliest whispers of healthcare reform through the passing of the Affordable Care Act (aka: Obamacare), Nick and his team have ensured their clients know their legal rights and take full advantage of healthcare services that are best suited to meet their needs.

In 2010, Nick created a new entity: Omni Insurance Inc. This partnership allows Nick and his team to represent the full spectrum of insurance services and providers. There’s strength in numbers -- especially when a wide variety of policies can be bundled to increase efficiency and savings.
